Abstract: |
JEM Engineering proposes to research the feasibility of a combined Iridium/GPS anti-jam system within a 4" diameter aperture via a multi-element, multi-function antenna. We will develop a combined system architecture and a new algorithm for attaining anti-jam Iridium performance. We seek to achieve low size, weight, and power for the combined antenna and antenna electronics.
|
Benefits: |
This project, if successful, will provide anti-Jam GPS and Iridium for UAVs, missiles and other munitions, smaller manned aircraft where a large conventional CRPA is not desirable, boats and submarines. It will also provide GPS and Iridium for civilian applications where RF interference is an issue. |
